The SVSS has a swamp ash body, a material known for its light weight, and features a quilted maple top; all of which is finished in a striking Crimson Red Burst Satin finish. Contrasting with the dark body is the bright maple neck, which provides a smooth surface for fretting notes. With a thin "C" profile, 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets, and 14" radius fingerboard this neck is meant to be played fast - the size of the neck won't get in the way as you're moving up and down the fingerboard and the notes won't choke out when you're doing soaring bends.
