MSC380 comes from Ibanez acoustic department and it`s Montage series. MSC380 is a semi-hollow semi-acoustic model with a single cutaway body made entirely of maple. The top of the guitar features an elliptical hole above the bridge. The top is also bound in white with both vintage violin and transparent red options being finished in gloss. The bridge is made of rosewood and has a compensated saddle. The pickup combo is made up of an under-saddle transducer and a regular single coil bridge pickup. Three-way toggle switch, split volume and tone knobs and a M300 preamp with on-board controls comprise the electronics section. Mahogany neck has a dovetail joint and a rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets, offset dot inlays and 1.69" wide nut.
