C models in the Artisan range are the basic models of the series and have only the necessary features and appointments. These are made for players who like simplicity, strong, gut-wrenching tone and solid build. C4H is the basic model of the C sub-range and it features a solid, double-cut mahogany body in combination with a wenge neck. This interesting combo gives a super strong low end and a very warm tone. It`s perfect for metal and hard rock bassists who are looking to get as much bang for their buck, as they can. Standard Artisan series hardtail bridge is fronted with a pair of passive humbuckers, instead of active ones found on the upscale Artisan basses. Wenge neck is topped with a standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
